This week we got a two-for! We combined two stories (that were actual topics on our list) that were too short to be a stand alone episode and decided to start a new series of episodes we'll be covering in the future. OBESSED/STALKER FANS....no we're not talking about Jesus Gutierrez.. but we're going to cover two celebrities who had very dangerous run ins with a deranged fan.
First up, Jacob tells us of the murder of Pantera/Damage Plan guitarist, Dimebag Darrell Abbott. Obsessed fan, Nathan Gale , murdered Dime on the 24th anniversary of John Lennon. Some speculate it was over the recent break up of Metal Supergroup Pantera and former lead singer Phil Anselmo's comments to Metal Hammer Magazine where he stated "Dimbebag deserves to be beaten severely".
Then Art Tells the tale of Ricardo Lopez. A young man who had become obessed with Icelandic rock start Bjork. Ricardo would build a fantasy in his head that he and Bjork were in some kind of relationship and would fly off the handle when he realized this was not true and Bjork was actually dating a black man (what a racist!). Because of this he decided to concoct an elaborate plan to send Bjork a bomb that would melt her face off and as the clock struck 12 on 9/11 (no not that 9/11) he would blow his own head off while listening to her music and wearing Darth Maul face paint for some reason...

This week we hop on the 99 freeway and visit our neighbors to the North in Fresno to discuss the crazy death of U.S. Marine, Mr. John Lang. Lang, back in 2015, had noticed the Fresno PD were doing some unethical things in low income neighborhoods and started to put them on blast over social media. This would then catch SOMEONE'S eye as John started to experience a series of 'harassments' from who he though were off duty police officers and their associates. He caught most of this on camera and this culminated with what many believe to be the Fresno PD eventually murdering him in his own home and setting it n fire to make it look like a suicide.....but ALSO it could be a case of a person having delusions and long term paranoia, that resulted in him killing himself....who knows...WE SURE DON"T but hear all the details HER

The Day of this recording was Father's Day. Ever so festive we be, we decided to cover a topic that showed the power of a father's love.....But, this episode isn't all sunshine and lollipops. No, no. We'll be discussing a pretty brutal case that left all of us in a moral quagmire.
We're talking about Gary Plauche. Famous for killing his son's abuser live on national TV. This clip also saw a second life as it was one of Youtube's first videos to go 'viral'. It's a pretty brutal clip (link down below). But when you consider what Gary went through (son was groomed/kidnapped/molested by a karate instructor who the family brought into their lives) Can ya say ya blame the guy?
