This week we celebrate our 200th episode by giving you part 2 of our look at the Zodiac Killer. Last week we took a look at Zodiac's first 5 CONFIRMED murders. This week we take you through the roller coaster ride of his letters, puzzles, and ciphers that were sent to the San Francisco Media (mostly the San Francisco Chronicle) and bay area police. We also take a look at potential unconfirmed murders that reach all the way down to Ocean side and Riverside California that have Zodiac's , figurative, finger prints all over them. This week we take a look at one of the first popular serial killers that haunted San Francisco in the late 60's/early 70's. The Zodiac Killer. Zodiac would kill 5 people (although he claims to have killed 37) and send newspapers letters and coded ciphers admitting to the crimes with "clues" on how to catch him and his supposed true identity. Most of these ciphers would be decoded within time except one, which took almost 50 years (December of 2020) to decode. Since this is a VERY dense topic and we wanted to do this topic justice we decided to split this one up, so this is part 1 where we give you the facts about the first 5, confirmed, Zodiac murders. Next week we will pick back up at the first letter sent in to the Media, the encrypted ciphers, as well as a list of suspects who may have been the Zodiac Killer...or Killers...

Jim Jones and his church, The People's Temple, had relocated due to pressures from the media and defectors of the church who were going public with the many atrocities that were occurring behind closed doors. When the entire church relocated to the jungles of Guyana, many concerned relatives were concerned their family members were being held against their will. So November 18, 1978 , Congressman Leo Ryan and a small crew of aids and media members went to Jonestown on a "fact finding" expedition. Leo Ryan and over 900 members would never make it back to the United States....listen to today to find out the whole story.

Once upon a time...during the "Satanic Panic" of the 80's , a group of Washington wives formed a group called the PMRC. This stood for the Parents Music Resource Center and was headed by Tipper Gore, wife of , then senator and future Vice President Al Gore. After, walking in to her daughters room while hearing her play Prince's "Darling Nikki", Mrs Gore was SHOCKED to hear her 11 year old daughter hear the tale of Darling Nikki "masturbating to a magazine". So just like any true Karen, they complained to the manager! They had their husbands hold a Senate hearing in the summer of 1985 and asked the RFIAA (The figure head of the music industry) to start labeling music for sex, violence, drugs, alcohol , and the occult....much like the MPAA and the Movie industry. However, many artist argued that this would lead down a road to CENSORSHIP. This battle cry was headed by the three headed beast that was Frank Zappa, Dee Snyder of Twisted Sister, and .....JOHN DENVER. Ultimately there would be a compromise and most edgy content would be labeled with the infamous "PARENTAL ADVISORY " sticker we see on most album art today. However, this only became a badge of honor and some may argue made music...MORE EXPLICIT ....good job guys !

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all! Except you Bruce Pardo! On Christmas Eve 2008, a newly divorced Bruce Pardo, showed up at his former In-laws' home dressed as Santa Claus. But instead of bringing good tithings and cheer....this Santa would bring 2 automatic pistols and a gift wrapped "flame thrower" that he'd use to kill his Ex-Wife, Ex In-laws, and multiple other people. He'd then use a home made "flame thrower" to ignite the house which took 80 firemen and 1 and a half to to distinguish. The Bodies were so burnt that they could only be identified by dental records. Unfortunately Bruce would never face justice as he would later take his own life at his brother's home 30 miles down the road. Hear what led this Bad Santa down this road of destruction

This week we're hitting you with a classic cryptid from across the pond! Spring Heeled-Jack. Spring-Heeled jack was a legend that started in Victorian London around 1837 when several servant girls were being brutally harassed and molested by a very strange entity. This entity's M.O. would be to violently rip off the clothes of his victims while diligently trying kiss and claw at their flesh with metallic claws. He would stare deep into their souls with burning red eyes and before they could get comfortable ...he would spew blue and white flames from his mouth, causing many to go into seizure like fits. But, before he could be caught ..the entity would SPRING from the scene and jump over 9 foot walls, houses, and other building disappearing into the Dark Night....cackiling like a beast from Hell. We use the word entity because many believe that ol' Jack was either some sort of Crytid, Alien, or Devil that was conjured up by occultists. While others believe Spring-Heeled Jack was a wealthy aristocrat and his friends who were just out to make mischief and 'Paint the town red". Whatever the case may be, Spring-Heeled Jack gained enough steam in the news papers of the time and many Penny Dreadful publications to see himself go from a boogey man ....to HERO....some might say a super hero...some might also say, the inspiration for BATMAN himself....
