In June of 2000 Deftones released their 3rd , and many consider their BEST, album....."White Pony". The week of this recording was the 21st anniversary of this album and we decided to discuss this classic with non other than the "Rock N Roll Beer Guy" himself, Mr. Eddy Torres . We take a look at this album track by track, drop some little known facts, discuss what we think each songs mean, and give insight into what this album has mean to us over the years.

This week we take a look at Brujeria. The word Brujeria translates from spanish to english as "Witch Craft". Now, when most people hear the term witch craft, they think of devil worship, cauldrons, green skinned women, broom sticks, and black cats. But Mexican "Witch Craft" is really just a combination of ancient and indigenous healing and spirutual practices that share A LOT of similarities to the practices and rituals within the Catholic Church. So much so, that many Brujos practice both. However, the church condemned these practices as witchery and devil worship. Forever marking those who still held on to their culture as servants of the devil. But this is not to say that Brujeria is all good ...we also look at some of the evil elements and how it lives hand in hand with the good ....super deep episode ...hope you all enjoy us getting Philosophical and Shiii...

We can all agree that 2020 was a wild wild year! But one thing that kind of flew under the radar (no pun intended) was that the U.S. Government was finally fully acknowledging the existence of UFO's. Now, in the past it was always dismissed, swept under the rug, or ridiculed ...but now we have former presidents saying that they exist!
Now with that said that doesn't mean they are saying they are extra terrestrial in nature. UFO (or UAP) doesn't also mean ALIENS ...we're looking at you History Channel. But the government is taking it seriously. So serious, that politicians on both sides of the of the political spectrum are working surprisingly well in figuring out what is flying over our heads.

This week we take a look at an American event that just turned 100 years old recently. The Tulsa Race Massacre. It's also referred to as "The Tulsa Race Riot" but we get into why the first name is more correct.
This historical event has seen an increase in publication the last few years thanks to shows like HBO's "The Watchmen" ...and various news outlets comparing it to recent events in light of the protests and riots during the summer of 2020. However, this event was almost virtually erased and forgotten about due to the concentrated effort by residents of Tulsa who went radio silent after all of the horrors took place.
Tulsa, Oklahoma was in a racial fragile state in 1921. They were 2 years removed from "The Red Summer of 1919" , in the mists of Jim Crow segregation laws, and the movie "Birth of a Nation" heavily influenced the way racist whites viewed blacks in the country. However one community in Tulsa, Greewood aka "Black Wall Street" , was able to find great prosperity during this time. When a teenager from this community found himself in a dust up in an elevator with a white teenage girl ...all of Greenwood's success went up in smoke in a matter of 24 hours. In the small town of Elkhorn, Wisconsin, residents for years have been seeing an upright walking canine that has been terrifying local residents since 1936. In the late 80's-early 90's these sightings spiked tremendously and the local media started to investigate. In particular a young journalist Linda Godfrey who would document all of these sightings and right the book on and give the name for the "Beast of Bray Road" We take a look at all of the theories and perhaps 'solve' what people have been seeing.

Aaron , in detail, explains why this is the best Metallica albums and well as possibly the best metal album of all time (EVEN ABOVE MASTER OF PUPPETS).
We talk the crazy way this album was recorded, the death of Cliff Burton right before this album, Jason Newstead's "muted" bass, and the impact this album had on the metal world, as well as the "Arms Race" Metallica was in with Slayer after their release of "Reign In Blood" in 1986.
