324 The Great Hollywood Strike of 2023

Here's an interesting topic. HOLLYWOOD ON STRIKE. Why should you care about "rich" actors and writers going on strike for more money and benefits? Well, 99% of working actors and writers are NOT rich. IN FACT most are working for probably less money than you and working with LESS benefits than you are as well. Some might say..."oh well, they must not be good actors or writers" ....well that's not true either because some of the writers behind some of the biggest shows on tv are showing up and winning awards with negative bank account balances. 

Corporate greed and the ever changing business model brought upon the industry thanks to streaming has created this problem. But even if they fight and win back higher residuals and benefits SAG-AFTRA and WGA have the foresight to see what could replace them if they do not regulate it....A.I. They also stand to lose their job to artificial intelligence ...setting up a future that makes "Terminator" more of a documentary than and sci fi classic.
